Manchester City have made an improved offer to Napoli for Jorginho by proposing a deal worth up to €63million (£55million), Claudio Russo of CalcioNapoli24 reports.
The Blues want to pay €59million up-front with a further €4million to potentially follow in add-ons, a steep improvement on their original proposal of €45million and €5million in add-ons.
Jorginho-Manchester City: rilancio inglese da 55mln di euro, nelle ultime ore ennesima offerta da 59 milioni di euro più altri 4 milioni di bonus. Il City vuole pagare in tre rate, il Napoli preferirebbe in due. @CalcioNapoli24

And Napoli are seriously considering the latest offer from the Etihad, having told City they would want the fee paid over two years, with City preferring to stretch it out over three years.
Napoli are willing to reduce the amount of add-ons if City pay over two years, which would mean the deal could be closed at €61million instead of €63million.
Talks are continuing but there an agreement is closer than ever for Jorginho – who is already preparing for life in England – to move to the Etihad.
It is further suggested that a deal is so close that Jorginho could undergo his City medical within the next 48 hours.
