Manchester City have agreed personal terms with Napoli midfielder Jorginho ahead of his proposed move to the Premier League champions, Claudio Russo of CalcioNapoli24 reports.

This follows up on earlier news from Russo that a deal is edging closer with Jorginho’s entourage and Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli set to meet imminently.
Jorginho’s representatives have agreed a yearly salary of €4.5million (£3.9million) with Manchester City’s negotiators, meaning personal terms will be no issue.
And there could be ‘white smoke’ soon from Naples, with an expectation that City, who are pressing hard to close a deal, can sign the pass-master in deal that will be worth up to €50million.
The structure of the transfer could see the Blues pay €47million to €48million up-front with bonuses taking the total up to €50million (£43.8million).
Further developments are expected in the coming days, but all signs point to City working hard to hand Pep Guardiola his two major targets, Jorginho and Riyad Mahrez, as soon as possible.
