Manchester City talent Kean Bryan named Oldham Athletic’s Young Player of the Year

Manchester City loanee Kean Bryan has been named Oldham Athletic’s Young Player of the Year for 2017/18 following a successful loan spell at the Latics.

The 21-year-old Mancunian defender was one of the few bright spots in an Oldham team which saw itself relegated to League Two this season, along with another north-west club Bury.

Oldham’s relegation was no fault of Kean’s who was considered a successful loan recruit in a struggling team, and he is likely to move on to bigger and better things next season, with several Championship clubs known to be interested.

In total, the former England youth international made 32 appearances for Oldham in League One this season, finding the net twice.
