Manchester City quartet named in Brazil’s 23-man World Cup squad

All four of Manchester City’s main Brazilian contingent have been named in Tite’s 23-man Brazil squad for this summer’s World Cup.

Gabriel Jesus, Fernandinho and Ederson have been certainties for months, but an injury to Dani Alves means a late place in the squad for Danilo, who impressed in City’s last two games of the season in which he started ahead of Kyle Walker.

Brazil are in Group E of the World Cup along with Costa Rica, Serbia and Switzerland.
