April was another impressive month for Manchester City left-back Angeliño, who has spent the season on loan at Dutch partner club NAC Breda.
The 21-year-old has been a standout player for NAC this season, creating more chances for his team than any other defender in the whole Eredivisie since Opta began recording this data in 2010/11.
And his performances in April have been rewarded by a FOURTH Rookie of the Month award of the season in Holland’s top-flight for the Spanish left-back.
For the fourth time this season @angel_tasende69 has been named the Eredivisie Rookie of the Month 😱 🔝 Do we see the @ManCity loanee and current @NACnl player also next season in the #Eredivisie? pic.twitter.com/CO2vMMkxbS

Angeliño, who is now sporting a bald look, contributed two assists for his side and created 14 chances last month, while also putting in a defensive shift and winning 9 tackles.
City value their young talent at over €10million with Dutch giants Ajax and PSV keen to sign him on loan next season. However, with his contract due to expire in 2019, a decision may be needed over his long-term future and a loan move with just 12 months remaining on his current contract would be of no benefit to City.
Pep Guardiola is likely to take a look at Angeliño in pre-season, especially after using makeshift left-backs Fabian Delph and Oleksandr Zinchenko for most of the season in Benjamin Mendy’s absence, and the player will be hoping to finally make a breakthrough at the Etihad Stadium.
Angelino believes he is ready and recently made it clear he fancies a shot at the big time.
“I am ready,” Angeliño told FOX Sports a month ago. “I’ve already been loaned out three times and the first time was difficult. I am waiting for my chance [at City] and will be ready for it.
“PSV, Ajax and Feyenoord are top teams that everyone wants to play for. But going back to Manchester City, the Premier League, is also good.
“Of course I want to play for Manchester City. That’s a big step, but we will see what happens in future. My focus is on playing for a top club. I will not name names, but I want to play at a top club. That is my goal.”
