Manchester City starlet passes Hertha BSC medical ahead of summer move – report

Hertha BSC have won the race to sign in-demand Manchester City youngster Javairo Dilrosun after the 19-year-old underwent a medical, German newspaper BILD reports.

The Dutch youth international is highly-rated at the Etihad Stadium, but rejected a new contract because he saw the likes of Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sané and Bernardo Silva ahead of him, and didn’t feel he had much chance of playing any time soon.

Benfica were one of the clubs to make a proposal to the versatile winger, but it is Berlin-based Hertha who appear to have convinced him and will sign him on a free transfer when his City contract expires in the summer.

Dilrosun underwent a successful medical recently according to BILD, and unless of any late surprises his future will be in the Bundesliga where he can expect the first team chances he didn’t feel were coming in Manchester.

The teenager, who arrived from Ajax in 2014, has made 12 appearances in the Premier League 2 this season, scoring none but contributing 5 assists to his teammates.
