Manchester City reveal Champions Trophy Parade route for May 14

Premier League champions Manchester City will hold a parade on Monday, 14 May in Manchester city centre, showing off the two trophies won this season.

The club have confirmed the parade as well as the 1.5km route and schedule.

The event starts with a stage show on Deansgate at 5pm before the parade itself kicks off an hour later from Victoria Street, near the Manchester Cathedral, with the buses travelling past the Town Hall before finishing at 6.45pm.

The parade route, according to the club, is: Victoria Street, Deansgate, John Dalton Street, Albert Square, Mount Street, Peter Street, finishing on Deansgate close to the junction with Peter Street.

The fun will not end there though, with the players going up on stage for an hour from 7pm before the event ends at 8pm.

Manchester will (as always) be Blue on 14 May, and let’s hope for some sunshine as the record-breaking Premier League champions make their way through the city centre.
