Confirmed: Manchester City to hold parade to celebrate double-winning season

Manchester is Blue! Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock or on a remote beach with no internet, you’ll know that Manchester City are the Premier League champions, adding that trophy to the Carabao Cup won earlier in the season.

A question that has surfaced is whether there would be any parade around the city to commemorate the feats of this extraordinary team.

The answer is YES, with City revealing in the Cityzens Newsletter that there will be a parade by running a competition for fans to win a place on the fans’ parade bus.

No other details are known as yet, but the parade can be expected to take place after the conclusion of the season.

City previously held parades to celebrate the FA Cup win in 2011 that ended years of hurt, the epic Premier League title win in 2012, then the last Premier League and League Cup double win in 2014 under Manuel Pellegrini.
