Manchester City and Tinder have announced a new multi-year, multi-million pound deal as the Premier League leaders continue to expand their commercial portfolio.
Tinder is a location-based social search mobile app that allows users to like (swipe right) or dislike (swipe left) other users, and allows users to chat if both parties swiped to the right (a match).
The official press release reads:
“A Perfect Match! Tinder Swipes Right on Manchester City and Nets Partnership to Connect Fans around Their Passion Points”
Tom Glick, chief commercial officer of City Football Group, said: “Tinder is a huge global platform which, just like football, is bringing millions of people together every day all around the world. We believe this will be a perfect match for Tinder and for City.”
The company has today changed its logo to blue and even shown off a custom designed airship.
