As promised, Liverpool fans gave Manchester City players a ‘warm’ welcome to Anfield ahead of their Champions League quarter-final first leg tie this evening.
City’s coach arrived and was greeted by not only a smattering of boos, but bottles and cans being thrown at the coach – luckily no one was hurt by the hooligans, but the bus was rendered undriveable after.
