David Silva has been voted the City Watch Player of the Month after thousands of Blues voted for the standout player in March.
The 32-year-old has been regularly absent this season for personal reasons, but whenever he has played, has been at his magical best. And March was no exception as El Mago scored in the win over Arsenal at the beginning of the month and also struck twice against Stoke, while contributing three assists – one against Chelsea and two against Everton.
It’s the first time Silva has won the award since we introduced it in March 2017, and is fully deserved.
Silva received 57% of the vote, ahead of Leroy Sané (28%), Bernardo Silva (10%) and Kyle Walker (5%).
