Watch: Nicolas Otamendi heads in Argentina goal past sluggish Spain keeper David de Gea

Manchester City stalwart Nicolás Otamendi gave hope to Argentina against Spain in their prestige friendly tonight by heading home from a corner.

Spain, without David Silva, stormed into a 2-0 lead over an Argentina side missing Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero, thanks to goals from Diego Costa and long-time City target Isco.

But shortly before half-time, ‘El General’ got his head on the end of an Ever Banega corner to pull one back. It was sluggish goalkeeping by the normally alert Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea, who let the header creep past him.
