Referee appointed for Everton vs. Manchester City (31/3/2018)

Football is almost back! Real football that is. The football Manchester City fans are desperate to see as the Blues inch ever so closer to their third title of the Premier League era.

Ahead of them lies a potentially tough challenge at Goodison Park as City visit Everton in this Saturday’s 5.30pm kick-off.

The man in charge has been announced today as Paul Tierney, still a fairly unknown referee but one who has overseen two home wins for City this season. Tierney was in charge as City beat Southampton 2-1 back in late November, and more recently, he had the whistle for City’s 3-1 win over Newcastle in January.

Tierney will be officiating his first Everton game of the season on Saturday.
