Pep Guardiola has accepted an FA charge for wearing a yellow ribbon in support of Catalan politicians who were jailed by the Spanish government.
The Manchester City manager has agreed to no longer wear the ribbon while on the touchline, but will continue to do so before and after matches.
The FA charged Guardiola for ‘wearing a political message’ and the governing body’s chief executive, Martin Glenn, made some highly controversial comments on Sunday about such ‘political’ symbols.
According to the BBC, Pep does not see this as an apology – but that he will observe the rules of the country where he is working.
