Thursday night’s 3-0 win over Arsenal moved Manchester City one step closer to the Premier League title, and if they can beat reigning champions Chelsea this afternoon at the Etihad Stadium, they may well have one foot across the line.
City won an intense game between the two sides at Stamford Bridge earlier this season thanks to a Kevin De Bruyne wonder strike, and the former Chelsea midfielder could play a key part in today’s events. Chelsea have lost their last three games on the road, something that will encourage in-form City.
Michael Oliver is today’s referee and here are the starting lineups selected by Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte:
Manchester City XI: Ederson, Walker, Otamendi, Laporte, Zinchenko, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Silva, Bernardo, Aguero, Sané
Chelsea XI: Courtois, Moses, Rudiger, Christensen, Azpilicueta, Alonso, Drinkwater, Fabregas, Willian, Pedro, Hazard
