Sergio Aguero has proven the doubters wrong (again) with an incredible first two months of 2018, in which he has already found the net FIFTEEN times.
His fifteenth goal, a lovely chip over the helpless David Ospina at Wembley in Sunday’s Carabao Cup final was perhaps his most important of the lot, and showed again what a great striker City have been privileged to have for the last seven years.
After the game, Sergio was interviewed by Spanish radio station Cadena COPE and gave a few interesting comments on his City future and Pep Guardiola.
Commenting on Pep, who there have been rumours of Aguero having a strained relationship in the past, the 29-year-old said: “Guardiola is one of the best coaches in the world and the most demanding I’ve had.”
Aguero’s future remains slightly unclear, but Guardiola will surely not want to part with him if he continues to play this way. The player himself said he is content at the Etihad.
“While I have a contract, I’ll stay here. I’m very happy.”
El Kun, who also predicted that Real Madrid will advanced past PSG in the Champions League, sounds like a man who is still very happy at City and in no hurry to leave.
