Spanish journalist Jose Alvarez Haya is currently 100 per cent with his pre-match team news scoops and has published City’s lineup half an hour ahead of schedule on Twitter.
If confirmed, it looks like Pep Guardiola has thrown a curveball with what could be a 4-4-2 diamond formation or a standard 4-3-3/4-1-4-1. Jose has De Bruyne in the front three, suggesting he could start on the right wing, since Sané is listed on the opposite side.
The back four, if confirmed, will feature club captain Vincent Kompany next to Nicolas Otamendi, with Danilo getting the nod at left-back.
This lineup remains unconfirmed, but given Jose’s track record, is more than likely to be true. We’ll have the official lineups at 3.30pm!
Bravo; Walker, Kompany, Otamendi, Danilo; Fernandinho, Gundogan, David Silva; Sané, Agüero, De Bruyne.
