Manchester City star Sergio Aguero will face no punishment from The FA after he responded aggressively to the provocation of Wigan fans during their pitch invasion last night.
Aguero, who it has emerged claims to have been spat on and verbally abused, lashed out at a couple of Wigan fans, but The FA has ruled he deserved no further punishment, particularly as the supporters were encroaching on the pitch.
And it is being reported by the press that City and Aguero are considering legal action after a fan told the 29-year-old to ‘suck his d***’ and spat at him.
Understood fan who confronted @aguerosergiokun last night shouted an obscenity and then spat in Aguero’s ear. Legal action not being ruled out.
Sources close to @ManCity feel stewarding inadequate for a local derby of that magnitude. Doesn’t sound like they will appeal Delph red.

Aguero and Man City considering legal action, with the Argentinian understood to have reported he was spat and sworn at by fan on field at Wigan. Fan apparently said, "suck my d***," and spat in Aguero's ear

City are said to be unhappy about the stewarding arrangements for a game of that magnitude, and fan videos have shown there was little separating fans after jubilant Wigan fans stormed on to the pitch after their win and provoked City supporters.
