Mix Diskerud recently swapped New York City FC for Manchester City in one of the more unexpected moves of the January transfer window, but not much has actually changed for the USA international.
Diskerud, who was never announced by City but was by Umbro as having joined on a 4 ½ year deal, has returned to IFK Göteborg, where he had previously been on loan from NYCFC.

“There have been a lot of details to sort,” sporting director Mats Gren said. “Now it’s done and we’re very pleased to bring in a player at the high level Mix is on.”
Mix has gone straight into the IFK squad for today’s Svenska Cupen tie against Varbergs Bois.
The Norwegian-American midfielder made 31 appearances for the Swedish side during his previous spell, scoring 5 goals and contributing 4 assists.
