One month after making history by becoming the first ever manager to win the Premier League Manager of the Month award four times in a row, Pep Guardiola has been shortlisted for the January prize.
Guardiola won the award in September, October, November and December, breaking Antonio Conte’s record of three in a row.
City won three of their four league games in January, but the one blemish – and only league defeat of the season to date – a loss to Liverpool, may bring Pep’s streak to the end.
Pep is up against David Moyes, Eddie Howe, Jose Mourinho, Carlos Carvalhal, Mauricio Pochettino and Jurgen Klopp for January’s prize, which can be voted for online.
