Referee appointed for Manchester City vs. Leicester City (10.02.2018)

Manchester City will look to keep up a 100 per cent record this season under referee Mike Jones when he takes charge of this weekend’s clash with Leicester.

The 49-year-old from Chester has been appointed referee for City’s next home game and the Blues have fared well under him so far this campaign.

Jones was in charge of two Premier League victories, the 3-2 win away at West Brom in October and December’s 4-0 drubbing of Bournemouth at the Etihad.

He also had the whistle for another game against West Brom, City’s 2-1 win at The Hawthorns in the Carabao Cup third round.

His sole Leicester appointment was quite recent, their battling 0-0 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in mid-January.
