He wanted to join Manchester City desperately in January and now Riyad Mahrez may give Pep Guardiola a boost by not lining up against his City side this Saturday.
The 26-year-old, who Leicester denied a move to a top side for the fourth transfer window running, again skipped training today and according to Sky Sports News report Rob Dorsett, no return is in sight.

City held discussions with Leicester in January about a deal for Mahrez, but were unable to raise their offer beyond £65million, far below the £95million sought by the 2015/16 Premier League winners.
Mahrez, who won the PFA Player of the Year award in Leicester’s miracle season, has not responded well to being denied the chance to link up with Pep Guardiola and is now essentially on strike.
The Algerian international remains a candidate to reinforce the flanks at City this summer, but the Blues will not pay over the odds and have a shortlist that includes Bayer Leverkusen’s rising star Leon Bailey.
