One of Manchester City’s loan contingent at NAC Breda, Thierry Ambrose, gave the struggling Dutch side an unexpected early lead against giants Ajax at the Johan Cruyff Arena this afternoon.
With barely six minutes on the clock, a cross from fellow City loanee Angeliño ricocheted out to 20-year-old Ambrose, who fired in a shot from range past goalkeeper André Onana.
Ambrose has been quite prolific in front of goal for the Eredivisie side, scoring 7 times in 20 appearances, which bodes well for his future, be it at the Etihad or elsewhere.
