David Silva is expected to play no part in tomorrow’s lunchtime kick-off when Manchester City play Burnley at Turf Moor.
The 32-year-old maestro took what Pep Guardiola described as a “painful kick in the side” and he was to be checked today.
And according to Jose Alvarez Haya, who has a pretty much 100 per cent track record with Silva news, El Mago didn’t train today and unless of a surprise will not line up for City tomorrow.
David Silva has not trained today (injured) and he is not expected to play tomorrow at Burnley.

Silva has been a regular absentee of late due to the personal situation with his prematurely born son Mateo, but this time it will be an injury – not a serious one – that sidelines him for the weekend game.
