Could Robert Lewandowski and Riyad Mahrez join City in the summer? There is a suggestion from Spain that both are on Pep’s radar.

West Brom boss Alan Pardew believes City have a gem in Aymeric Laporte after the club record signing made an impressive debut on Wednesday night.

Fernandinho has been cleared after an alleged stamp on Grzegorz Krychowiak, which, unlike several tackles from West Brom players last night, was more clumsy than malicious.

Speaking of horror tackles, Bernardo Silva has urged the authorities to start protecting City players from the increasing number of potential leg-breakers. Not one of them has resulted in a red card yet this season, which is encouraging opposition players to try and take City players out.

The future of Larry Kayode is currently up in the air after problems on deadline day with his loan move to Amiens. FIFA are being brought in to try and sort it out.

4,345 tickets will be up for grabs for City’s FA Cup fifth round clash against Wigan later this month.
