The 20-year-old centre-back, who City never officially announced they have signed, left Sporting Kansas City after his contract expired and was snapped up by City, who continue to invest in many players from around the world.
Palmer-Brown is one of US football’s most promising defenders and was expected to join PSV Eindhoven on loan after arriving at the Etihad, but will continue his development in Belgium, a league famed for improving young players.
The 6’1″ tall defender will wear the number 12 shirt at Kortrijk.
