Paris Saint-Germain are set to lose one of their great young prospects, defensive midfielder, Claudio Gomes, with the player agreeing to join Manchester City in the summer.
City have been working on a deal to sign the 17-year-old for months, making steady progress, and RMC Sport journalist Loïc Tanzi brings news today that they have been successful.

Attention. : Claudio Gomes a un profond amour pour le #PSG. C'est son club. Mais il n'a jamais réellement senti une volonté du club de lui offrir un projet sur son avenir.

Gomes will no longer be a PSG player in the summer when his contract is up, with the exciting highly-rated France under-18 international having made the decision to join Man City.
Pep Guardiola himself is said to have been involved, contacting Gomes to praise the quality of City’s training facilities and presenting a project that could take the youngster to the Premier League.
Tanzi says Gomes has a ‘deep love’ for PSG, but never really felt a strong enough desire for the club to offer him a project for the future.
With the assistance of Guardiola, Manchester City succeeded on that front and will add one of Europe’s most promising teens to their goldmine of youth talent in the summer.
