Manchester City are considering straying from their usual preseason path by touring Brazil next summer, Brazilian journalist Brenno Beretta reports.

While nothing is confirmed, the City board are making initial plans to visit Brazil in the off-season which could see the Blues face the likes of Gabriel Jesus’ former club, Palmeiras, Corinthians, and Flamengo, who City yesterday loaned Colombian winger Marlos Moreno to.
It would be a highly unusual tour for a Premier League giant, who tend to target big economic markets such as the USA or China, but capitalising on the success of Gabriel Jesus, plus the presence of internationals such as Fernandinho and Ederson (and possibly Fred by then if the latest reports prove to be accurate!).
Pep Guardiola is known to be a lover of Brazilian football and has even been linked with the national team job in the past, and if this news is accurate, he may have had an influence on the decision.
