Ligue 1 side Amiens are hopeful that Manchester City will give their consent to a loan deal for Nigerian forward Olarenwaju “Larry” Kayode by the end of the day.
News broke yesterday that the 24-year-old was close to joining the French strugglers until the end of the season, which would mean an early end to his loan spell at Girona FC.
RMC Sport journalist Tristan Molineri has posted an update, saying Amiens are hopeful of receiving an answer by the end of Wednesday and hope to add Kayode to their ranks as soon as possible.

Kayode has struggled for minutes at Girona, but he was the Austrian Bundesliga’s top scorer last season and Amiens, who have found the net just 16 times in 20 Ligue 1 matches, are desperate for some firepower which “Larry” has the potential to bring.
It is thought that City have several offers for Kayode, but a move to France is the most likely option as it stands.
