The 21-year-old was excellent for Oldham in his previous spell, predominantly playing as a centre-back, and the League One side have pulled off quite a coup in re-signing him.
Championship sides Sunderland and Preston were interested in snapping up local lad Bryan, and City Watch understands that at least one club showed interest in paying a seven-figure fee to sign him permanently.
However, having settled in well at Richie Wellens’ Oldham, the former England youth international has decided to spend the rest of the season at Boundary Park.
