Manchester City youngster Bersant Celina scored his 7th Championship goal in just 14 starts (23 total appearances) on Saturday afternoon at Portman Road to give Ipswich Town a 1-0 win over Leeds United.
21-year-old Celina was used sparingly by Mick McCarthy in the early stages of his spell at Ipswich, but is now a regular in the team and is showing he’s capable of scoring some stunning goals.
His 30-yard strike today was up there with some of the best long range efforts of the season and kept The Tractor Boys in touch of the Championship play-off zone.
The Kosovo international is very highly regarded at the Etihad and signed a lucrative new contract in 2016, tying him to the club until 2020.
