David Silva will be available to face Liverpool on Sunday after his third personal absence in recent weeks.
The 32-year-old has been flying to and from Valencia for weeks now to check on his newborn son Mateo, who was born prematurely and has been fighting for his life.
However, the Manchester City midfielder is back in England and was due to attend training on Friday afternoon, meaning he will be available to face Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
The news was revealed on Twitter by Jose Alvarez Haya, the Spanish journalist with connections close to both Silva and Sergio Aguero.
