Alexis Sanchez’s move from Arsenal to Manchester City could be imminent with a report from Argentina suggesting that the Gunners have his replacement lined up.
The Gunners have made it known that they are willing to trigger the $37million (£27.4million) release clause of exciting Boca Juniors forward Cristian Pavón, major Argentine source TyC Sports reports.

The report states that the Gunners have not yet made a formal offer, but that one could arrive ‘in the next few hours’, with Alexis Sanchez ‘close to signing for Manchester City’.
The 21-year-old has already won two caps for Argentina and a move to the Emirates could put him in contention for a place in Argentina’s World Cup 2018 squad.
