Manchester City and Barcelona have entered talks with AS Nancy and France under-17 international left-back Hakim Guenouche over a transfer in the summer, RMC Sport reports.
The highly-rated 17-year-old hasn’t played for the Ligue 2 side this season but is tipped to go far in the game and the interest of two powerhouses like City and Barça indicate his level of potential.
Guenouche is out of contract in the summer, with information from France claiming City and Barcelona are at the head of the queue to add him to their burgeoning youth ranks.
Despite efforts from Nancy to hold on to him, Guenouche has decided on a new adventure and will be on the move.
Guenouche, born in 2000, has won 12 caps for France’s under-17 side and before that he made 10 appearances for the under-16s.
