David Silva will play no part in tomorrow’s FA Cup tie against Burnley after returning to Spain to check on his newborn son Mateo.
Spanish journalist Jose Alvarez Haya has confirmed the news that 31-year-old Silva is in Valencia and will ‘probably’ return to Manchester next week, perhaps in time to face Bristol City in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.
Silva is in Valencia again. He won't play tomorrow against Burnley and probably comes back to Manchester next week.

This will be Silva’s third absence in recent weeks and naturally comes with Pep Guardiola’s blessing.
“He shows on the pitch he is able to forget everything but he will decide when he has to go and when he will stay,” the City boss said in his pre-match press conference earlier.
‘El Mago’ has been in outstanding form as usual this season, scoring 5 goals and assisting 8 in 18 Premier League starts.
