Manchester City vs. Watford: Starting Lineups & TV Information

Manchester City’s incredible 18-game winning streak in the Premier League came to an end on New Year’s Eve with a 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace. Afterwards, Pep Guardiola said they would start again and attempt to break their league record anew, and the starting point will be today’s home game against Watford.

Marco Silva’s side have been in shocking form with just one win in their last eight games, and City demolished them 6-0 at Vicarage Road earlier this season. They will hope to do the same today, although may find Silva’s team less open at the back this time.

Lee Mason is the referee for City’s first fixture of 2018, and here are the teams selected by Guardiola and Silva:

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Walker, Otamendi, Stones, Delph, Fernandinho, Silva (c), De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane, Aguero

Watford XI: Gomes (c), Janmaat, Wagué, Kabasele, Zeegelaar, Doucouré, Watson, Carrillo, Capoue, Richarlison, Gray

Today’s match is NOT on TV in the UK but radio commentary is scheduled on BBC Radio Manchester. A full list of TV coverage from around the world can be found here.
