Revealed: First details of Manchester City’s ‘clean and simple’ 2018/19 home kit

The early details of next season’s Manchester City home kit have been released by the ever-reliable crew over at Footy Headlines.

Despite rumours of City switching to Puma next summer, it emerged that there is still a year remaining on the Nike deal, and unless of some behind-the-scenes deal there will be one more set of Nike kits.

Similar to this season’s kit, the shirt will be ‘Field Blue’ with ‘Midnight Navy’ brandings, using Nike’s Vapor template. The kit will be kept ‘clean and simple’ and stylistically will be similar to France and Brazil’s World Cup strips.

The home kit will feature the Vapor template’s trademark zig-zag or waveform knit pattern along the top of the sleeves and on the sides of the shorts, likely in a subtle way.

The 2017/18 home kit will have white shorts with navy brandings. The socks will be navy with a sky blue trim.

Here is a concept design of the colour scheme. What do you think?
