Txiki Begiristain was in San Sebastián, home of La Liga club Real Sociedad, yesterday, a popular Sociedad source has claimed.
Me dicen que ayer Txiki Begiristain andaba de pintxos por Donosti, habrá venido a visitar a la familia.

It’s very important to note that this is where Txiki is from the Basque Country, and he visited family (it isn’t specific whether it was his family), but at a time when City are heavily linked with La Real defender Iñigo Martínez, this is bound to create speculation.
With Virgil van Dijk heading to Liverpool for £75million, it may well be that Pep chooses between Martinez, 26, and West Brom skipper Jonny Evans, 29, perhaps the two more attainable targets in January.
Martinez has an affordable release clause of around £28million and has a skill set suited to the style of football played by Manchester City.
The centre-back has made 10 appearances in La Liga this season, chipping in with a goal and assist on top of his defensive duties. He’s also won 4 Spain caps during his career and has commonly been linked with a move to a bigger club in recent years.
