The exciting 20-year-old, who is making a big impression on loan at the Dutch side, fended off highly-rated Ajax pair David Neres and Frenkie de Jong, the latter reported to be on the Blues’ radar, to the award.
In December, Angeliño had 20 successful crosses, created 13 chances, and had 7 successful dribbles.
This isn’t the first time he’s won this prize, which recognises young talents, having already collected it in September.
With his development going well, the City academy graduate, may well work his way into Pep Guardiola’s plans or at least be given a chance to impress him next summer.
NAC fans recently praised him for his performance against FC Utrecht, with one saying he is even too good for Ajax and PSV.
