David Silva will play no part in Manchester City’s Premier League game against Newcastle tonight at St. James’ Park, it has been revealed.
Spanish journalist Jose Alvarez Haya, who has had some solid information on both Silva and Sergio Agüero lately, broke the news on Twitter today that the Spaniard has again returned home on what is likely further personal business after his recent absence.
David Silva won't play tonight against Newcastle. He is in Spain again. Hopefully everything will be good for him soon.

The reason behind Silva’s recent absence has not been revealed, but it caused him to miss the games against Spurs and Leicester. He returned for the weekend win over Bournemouth, but supposing this news is accurate, he’ll again be missing tonight.
With Silva absence, the likelihood is that İlkay Gündoğan, who has been in good form of late, will win another start for Pep Guardiola’s side.
