Touré announced his retirement from international football in September 2016 to focus on club duties, but has been used sparingly by Pep Guardiola this season.
And now his agent has revealed that Touré wants to win more trophies with Les Éléphants after captaining them to elusive success at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, in which they beat Ghana in the final.
Yaya, once the talisman of City’s midfield, has featured for just 61 minutes in the Premier League this season, enjoying a little more game time in Europe with 165 minutes in the Champions League.
