Nicolas Otamendi is the latest Manchester City star to commit his future to the club by signing a new two-year contract extension, Sam Lee of Goal reports.
The 29-year-old has astonished fans this season with his improvement, marshaling the defence even when John Stones and Vincent Kompany have been absent through injury.
Nico has also been adding more goals to his game, with 5 in all competitions this season after just two goals in his City career prior to this campaign.
And he’ll now remain a Blue until at least 2022 after reportedly signing a new contract. The same source also reported that Fernandinho has also put pen to paper, with the club set to announce both deals in the near future.
Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus are also said to be very close to signing new contracts as City tie down their big names to long-term deals.
