Record-breaking City THIRTEEN points clear at Christmas after United blow lead

Manchester City are the Christmas number one and have done it in some style, establishing an incredible THIRTEEN point lead after 19 matches.

It had looked like Manchester United were about to reduce the lead back to 11 points, before Jose Mourinho decided to defend a 2-1 lead despite hosts Leicester being down to 10 men.

And with almost the last kick of the game, Harry Maguire got on the end of a Marc Albrighton cross to score an equaliser.

The 13-point gap between City and United will be the biggest between first and second place on Christmas Day in the history of top-flight English football.

The Shark Team continues to devour record after record.

Here is the table at Christmas time. Merry Christmas, Blues.
