It’s back to Premier League action today for Manchester City after the midweek cup game against Leicester City, and Pep Guardiola’s men will look to extend their record winning streak to 17 games against Bournemouth.
Eddie Howe’s men have suffered some big losses to City in recent times and were on the wrong end of a 4-0 thrashing by Liverpool last weekend. Back in August though, the Cherries gave City a hard game, and it took a memorable Raheem Sterling winner deep into injury time to give City a 2-1 win.
Today’s referee is Mike Jones and here are the lineups selected by Guardiola and Howe:
Manchester City XI: City XI vs. Bournemouth: Ederson, Walker, Kompany (c), Otamendi, Delph, Fernandinho, De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling, Sane, Aguero
Bournemouth XI: Begovic, Steve Cook, Aké, Simpson, Smith, Surman, Fraser, Gosling, Ibe, Stanislas, Wilson
