Amid renewed speculation about his future, Sergio Aguero has not been included in today’s Manchester City squad to face Leicester City in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, according to several sources.

Kun Agüero is out of the team today against Leicester in Carabao Cup. He is not even among the subs………… @elchiringuitotv

Aguero pretty much confirmed it himself when he wished good luck to the traveling team on his official Instagram account.
This comes after journalist Jose Alvarez Haya claimed the Manchester City legend could be off to Real Madrid in the summer for around €70million.
Tonight’s exclusion is unlikely to have any correlation to these stories, with Pep Guardiola set to rest a number of stars in this busy festive period.
