Manchester City have begun doing the groundwork on a potential £40million deal for former Manchester United winger, Wilfried Zaha, Tuesday’s Daily Mirror reports.
The Crystal Palace star has four goals in the Premier League for struggling Palace this season and is also attracting interest from Chelsea and Arsenal.
It is reported that City view Zaha, 25, as one alternative for Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, who is tipped to make a belated move to the Etihad, but also has PSG interested in snapping him up.
City are determined to keep their squad stocked up with attacking options and Zaha would add pace to an already impressive group of forward options at the club.
