David Silva was a surprise absentee from Manchester City’s 4-1 demolition of Tottenham on Saturday and despite rumours, we still don’t know why the midfield maestro was missing.
After his goal, Kevin De Bruyne held up two fingers on one hand and one finger on the other, as if to make out Silva’s number 21.
And after the match, several City stars tweeted photos from the dressing room of the team celebrating win number 16 in a row, holding up Silva shirts in tribute to the 31-year-old.
