Pep Guardiola was today named the Premier League Manager of the Month for November, equaling a record. If he can repeat it in December, he’ll set a new record – something his City team are doing plenty of this season!

Not to be overlooked, wonderkid Phil Foden was named the Premier League 2 Player of the Month.

Pep confirmed at his pre-Spurs presser that Kompany and Stones are getting closer to a return, but not yet ready.

Meanwhile, the boss confirmed some talks have taken place to discuss a January centre-back signing. There will be no panic buying, however.

Martin Blackburn has backed up Sam Lee’s report of Virgil van Dijk and Iñigo Martínez being of considerable interest to City, but adds that Jonny Evans is also very much on Guardiola’s radar still.

Tottenham are in good enough shape heading into tomorrow’s game, but have some absentees at the back.

Games are coming quick and fast and so are referee appointments! Four refs have been named for upcoming fixtures.

Could the CFG be about to expand into Belgium? There are reports they could be about to acquire a second division side from Vincent Kompany and Kevin De Bruyne’s homeland.
