Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in snapping up young Montpellier full-back Nordi Mukiele, Portuguese newspaper A Bola reports.
Benfica also want the 20-year-old, who is predominantly a right-back, but are refusing to offer more than €5million for him, with the Ligue 1 side demanding at least €10million for the France under-21 international.
City were linked with Mukiele all the way back in May when they were in pursuit of new full-backs, but opted for Kyle Walker and Danilo for the right-back spots in the end.
Brazil international Danilo has found opportunities hard to come by and it remains to be seen if his patient stance on getting game time lasts, with the 26-year-old sure to be in high demand if made available.
Mukiele, who also plays as a right-sided centre-back, is seen as a very promising talent with the potential to go far. He has made 15 starts in Ligue 1 for Montpellier this season, including an assist against Mario Balotelli’s Nice.
