City Summary – December 9: Mourinho’s mind games, Lingard’s puzzling comment, Hart loses place

Catch up on all of today’s Manchester City news with our City Summary!

It’s been a reasonably quiet news day besides some of the typical mouthy comments from the Red camp leading into a Manchester derby.

Having complained about City’s ‘diving’ while employing Ashley Young, not to mention questioning Pep wearing a ribbon in support of Catalonia, the Machiavelli of football, Jose Mourinho, also believes City are kings of the tactical foul. He may have a point, just like Pep would if he labelled Mourinho a butcher of the beautiful game – but Guardiola has maintained his dignity leading into tomorrow’s game.

Meanwhile, he may be alright at football, but Jesse Lingard clearly doesn’t know his geography very well.

The GMP have gotten into derby day spirit with a joking tweet many wouldn’t mind being serious.

The Manchester derby will be one of the most televised games ever, but top Red Kim Jong-un won’t let his people watch it in North Korea.

Joe Hart lost his place in the West Ham team for their game against Chelsea today, putting his long-term future in further doubt.
